B&B Hotel Calenzano First

The room had adequate water pressure and clean bedding. The air conditioning was poor and noisy.

New-fashioned decent sized room, central heating, a private safe, and flat-screen TV were appreciated. It opened onto swimming pool. The hotel was in an unbeatable location, in the centre of Florence. Visited a Catholic church, one of the tourist spots, located at a medium distance from the property.

Staff always excellent and gentle!

Delightful croissants, bread, cakes, eggs, and cheese. Brand-new room with air freshener, nice bathroom, as example, and smoke detectors too for guests' safety. Location adjacent to shop as well as fast food restaurant.

The location was particularly good and I could use free parking on site. The staff were helpful, with extra attention to the details.

Totally recommend for a two-day stay

Clean room, helpful staff, with great Wi-Fi that allowed us to stay connected throughout our visit while being conveniently located near a train station for easy access to explore the surrounding areas.

We had a smoking room (we signed up for no smoking). The staff is rude. Breakfast more than casual italian (not just sweets :-)) but the eggs from powder.

Free parking, location near public transport, accessibility to major highways

Pool is often advertised but closed!!! Air conditioning in rooms needs serious improvement, too weak and uncomfortable!!! Maintenance issues like broken fixtures should be addressed to enhance experience!!!

The hotel is near the highway but you dont hear the noise from it. The outside looks of the hotel does not reflect its good interior. The room was tidy and furnished in a modern stile. The bed was perfect i slept like a baby. Just in front of the hotel you have the bus station. The bus no. 2 takes you to the central train station santa maria novela in 35 - 40 min. The price of the ticket is 2 € in the bus and 1,2€ at the Tabaccaio.If you are with the car and wont to visit the rest of toscany the hotel is just for you. Afther the whole day of sightseeing a good sleep is priceless and the hotel gives you just that.Just one more thing the breakfast is excellent.

Excellent services were available. This was my 2nd stay, they offered double room with nice bathroom. The location was unbeatable, 15 km to Peretola airport, perfectly reachable.

Equal parts excellent and disappointing

The breakfast variety is very rich,, and Debora was kind and sweet, making mornings good.

Rooms lack soundproofing, leading to noise disturbances from neighboring guests that disrupt sleep at night.

Just two minor issues: the elevator is quite old and the wi-fi/internet was offline during several hours.

The hotel is good if you visit Florence with a car, because it has free parking and the bus station is near the hotel. The drive into the city with the bus is about a half hour depends on traffic. The last bus is driving against 23 o clock. The hotel is about 15 Km from Florence city center away. a Tip: you may book only the superior room, because these rooms are renovated. The hotel is a little older, but the rooms are renovated and clean. It has a swimming pool. For a city trip (2 nights) we can recommend this hotel, but only if you come with car.

old furniture, old carpet, very old elevator. Some students have a party next to the swimming pool under with loud music under our window (this was not so good). On the internet photos the hotel looks better than in reality
